The front line aspirant for the humble position of the Federal Constituency of the Orlu, Orsu and Oru-East Local local governments has restated his commitments in creating the enabling environment for the stoppage of capital flights in the region, and reducing crimes and criminality.
Speaking at the gathering of select media professionals, the Washington DC 2001 business man of the year Award winner reiterated the fact that the job of impacting the people is not alien to him. Having been endowing the people with enormous goodwill and unrivaled philanthropic gestures right from his humble beginnings as a private individual running his personal businesses, Chief Felix has resolved to do more.
The people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru-East Local Government Areas are blessed with high literacy level and the leadership of the people must reflect same. When not properly harnessed, these talents would be erroneously channeled into the wrong ventures. A situation where human assets and talents rapidly flows out of the region, due to events of economic consequences or in search of greener pastures needs to be put an end to. There is the need for the domestication of the huge and rich human and financial resources which we have been naturally endowed with.
To this end, the successful business man and politician of Orlu extraction, has pledged to do his bid, even more as it has always been in his manner, in curbing the ugly trend. The empowerments and skill acquisition programmes embarked upon by a foundation which he cofounded with his amiable wife Chief Lady(Mrs) Chinyere Idiga – The JAFAC Foundation shall be made to widen their scope of reach and funding. Through this, our teeming youth force can receive trainings in various ventures. The ripple effects cannot be overemphasized, as enormous volume of jobs will be created.
The fortune of a people is a reflection of the characteristics of the hands they have entrusted their leadership. Jobs are landed on the premises of one’s antecedents. On the singular ground that Chief Sir Felix Chidi Idiga has been over the years involved in enriching lives with goodwill from his meager earnings, entrusting him this time with a platform to constitutionally represent them would only elicit more.
