Anambra 2021: I have the capacity to win, Ekwunife says as she visits Aguata PDP leaders, stakeholders

In line with her recent declaration to run for the Anambra State 2021 Governorship election, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) today, Friday visited the People’s Democratic Party, Aguata local government area.

Speaking during the visit, Senator Ekwunife noted that it is time for PDP to reoccupy its pride of place in the governance of the State.

She urged delegates, leaders and stakeholders of the party within the local government to ensure that the party puts its best foot forward while choosing a candidate ahead of the 2021 polls.

“My political antecedents, track records and vast knowledge of the political system of our dear State, Anambra put me in the best position to win the upcoming election and go ahead to provide the right leadership needed to develop our State”, she said.

 

Speaking further, the Senator noted that being a worthy daughter of Old Aguata Union (OAU) and Aguata local government in particular, she has decided to begin her campaign by informing her brothers and sisters in Aguata of her governorship ambition.

The PDP leaders in the local government appreciated the Senator for her interest in advancing the cause of the party in the State. They described her as “a daughter with whom they are well pleased” and assured her of their support.
